Renmark River Cruises is owned and operated by Stephen and Deanne Flaherty who have been in the Tourism Industry since 2008, operating "Renmark River Villas" (4 Holiday Homes) and "Boats and Bedzzz" (2 houseboats), on James Avenue in Renmark.
In 2025 Stephen and Deanne have commenced a new tourism offering with "Renmark River Cruises" where where you can sit back and enjoy a cruise along the magnificent Murray River and view its natural habitat in their 12-seater chartered pontoon boat. They offer set tours or tailor your own package (POA) for an intimate tour or group function.
INFORMATION TO NOTE ABOUT THE PONTOON BOAT AND CRUISES:
Please arrive 15 minutes early for your cruise.
Please note, as there is no toilet onboard the pontoon boat, we suggest using the town’s great toilet facilities across the road from the Marina prior to arriving.

The cruise has a 5 person minimum for the tour to go ahead.
If minimum numbers are not met, we will make contact with you to see if you are flexible to change your tour date/time to join another cruise that is definitely running. If not, we will arrange a refund of your 50% deposit paid.
No pets allowed.
Please make sure you have included all passengers as part of your booking, including children (aged 12 months to 15 years at time of tour) and infants (aged 11 months and younger at time of tour). There is no charge for infants aged 11 months and younger, but they will be required to sit on a parents lap if the pontoon boat is at full capacity.
Infants 12 months and older form part of the people capacity limit requirements as set by AMSA, so it is important you provide accurate ages.
There is no requirement to wear a PDF (lifejacket) on the pontoon boat, although as a commercial requirement we do supply the standard bulky lifejackets for emergency situations. We have a small selection of less bulky children’s lifejackets that we can provide with a minimum 3 hours notice (not normally carried onboard due to space restrictions).
Travel insurance is recommended
Renmark River Cruises has public liability insurance but indemnifies itself against any damage, loss or injury arising out of any action or lack of action by any external party.
No smoking or vaping onboard the pontoon boat. Intoxicated and unruly behaviour will not be tolerated and we can refuse entry of these people onto the pontoon boat.

DIRECTIONS IF COMING FROM ADELAIDE/BARMERA/BERRI DIRECTION:
As you are heading out of Berri towards Renmark, you will be travelling on the Sturt Highway. Continue to follow this highway, which will eventually become Renmark Avenue. As you come into the Renmark Township, you will go through a roundabout and travel under an archway sign that says "Renmark Town Centre".
Follow Renmark Avenue until you get to a T intersection where you cannot go any further - there will be a Water Fountain in front of you.
Turn right at this intersection, onto Murray Avenue. The first building on your left will be The Renmark Club and the Riverfront Marina (collection point for pontoon boat tours) is in front of the Renmark Club.
DIRECTIONS IF COMING FROM MILDURA/PARINGA DIRECTION
Follow the main highway as you come over the Paringa Bridge heading towards Renmark. As you come into Renmark you will be travelling on Eighteenth Street and come to a large roundabout which will be the intersection of Eighteenth Street and Renmark Avenue – there will be a vacant building on your left (previously the Caltex Service Station).
Take the third exit onto Renmark Avenue and you will travel under an archway sign that says “Renmark Town Centre”. Follow Renmark Avenue until you get to a T intersection where you cannot go any further - there will be a Water Fountain in front of you.
Turn right at this intersection, onto Murray Avenue. The first building on your left will be The Renmark Club and the Riverfront Marina (collection point for pontoon boat tours) is in front of the Renmark Club.
Cancellation Policy
TERMS, CONDITIONS AND CANCELLATION POLICY
Renmark River Cruises reserve the right to cancel or alter cruises at any time.
If the tour is cancelled by us for any reason (eg weather), we will reschedule your tour or refund the full amount of monies paid.
Renmark River Cruises endeavours to maintain a strict schedule for departure. If you are more than 5 minutes late on the day of your cruise and you miss the boat, you will not be entitled to a refund.
If you do not show up on the day of your cruise, you will not be entitled to a refund.
If you wish to cancel the tour more than 30 days prior to the tour date, you will receive a full refund of monies paid.
If you wish to cancel the tour more than 14 days prior to the tour date, you will receive a 50% refund of monies paid.
There will be no refund within 14 days of the tour date.
The same terms above apply for cancelling part of your booking (eg cancelling only some of the seats of your total seats booked).
Renmark River Cruises reserves the right to refuse boarding by any person who is intoxicated or behaving inappropriately
Please note that credit card fees are non refundable when a cancellation occurs.
