Welcome to the tourism industry and thank you for your interest in promoting your products and/or services through the Renmark Visitor Information Centre.
This to-do list contains all the forms you need to take advantage of being a local tourism operator in the Renmark Paringa District and (if applicable) be bookable by our Visitor Information Centre, as well as online through www.discoverrenmark.com.au.
Getting Started in Tourism Checklist
If you are starting a new tourism business, the Getting Started in Tourism Checklist will assist you to take some of the necessary steps to get established.
Application to display brochures
In order to display a new brochure, operators need to complete the Brochure Display Application Form and sign the declaration stating that Public Liability Insurance is held for the business. A copy of the Certificate of Currency may be requested upon lodgement on your application or at any future time to confirm continuance of cover.
By completing this process, and returning the form to the Visitor Centre in the town in which your business is located, your brochure will be able to be displayed in all Riverland Visitor Information Centre’s. Please note, individual Centre's may have additional policies or fees payable that need to be considered.
Australian Tourism Data Warehouse (ATDW)
The ATDW is an online register of Australian Tourism businesses and allows operators a free listing on www.visitriverland.com.au, www.southaustralia.com and www.australia.com
This form enables your tourism experience or accommodation to be bookable through our Visitor Information Centre and online at www.discoverrenmark.com.au Please read the agreement carefully and be sure to understand the commission payable.
Whilst it is encouraged and beneficial to you as an operator to be bookable through our Visitor Information Centre and website, it is not compulsory, you may choose to display brochures and have a website listing only.

Remember to email in a minimum of three photos of your accommodation or tourism experience for your website listing.
