FRUIT FLY OUTBREAK - Renmark and the greater Riverland area currently have a number of fruit fly outbreaks.  This has resulted in restrictions applying to the movement of at-risk fruit and vegetables within our region. This weekend the 30th Anniversary of the Riverland Rose and Garden Festival kicks off with a variety of events, including the Floral Display & Opening Fair. Twenty Third Street Distillery will host Sun & Sounds Music Festival, the Riverland Speedway will hit the track with their Classic Show and the PS Industry will be cruising on Sunday! It's a weekend packed full of something for everyone!

Date: Saturday 2 November
Time: PS Industry departs at 8am sharp, arriving at the Woolshed at approx 12 noon. The return bus will depart at 4.30pm, arriving in Renmark at 5pm.

Enjoy this unique opportunity to travel from Renmark upstream to the Woolshed Brewery onboard the historic PS Industry.

The scenic four-hour cruise will see you experience the beautiful Murray River and surrounding backwaters plus you'll pass the iconic Headings Cliff area. Enjoy an informative commentary along the route and learn the story of the PS Industry. Complimentary tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided enroute.

Once at the Woolshed, you’ll be able to purchase drinks and lunch with catering provided by Fuzion Foodz, offering American style smoked meat-based options or bring your own and find a table or a spot on the lawns. A range of local produce items are also available to put together your own Riverland tasting platter.

A feature of the afternoon is the World Record attempt at 2.30pm where one of AUS/NZ's best ever strongmen, Jeremy Hogg will try to set a new record for the 'Heaviest Boat Pulled 20m (upper body)' utilizing the PS Industry.

Make your own transport arrangements to return to Renmark at your leisure or take advantage of the bus provided by the PS Industry for an additional AUD10 per person. The bus will depart at 4.30pm and arrive at the Renmark Visitor Centre at 5pm. Seats on the bus must be booked in-conjunction with your cruise tickets.
