View the hand-made houseboat, hilariously named "Willitsinkorwontit" and stop and have a chat with it's creator, Frank Turton, also known as ‘The Chook Man’.
Description
Many visitors arrive in Renmark, having seen Frank previously perform at Tamworth or in the Northern Territory and hoping to catch a glimpse of Willitsinkorwontit and reacquaint themselves with some of Frank's performances.
This unique vessel is full of character and is a floating memory board of Frank’s travels around Australia as an entertainer, musician and poet of sorts. Step aboard (mind the chook poo) and experience the vast array of ever changing eclectic Australiana structures and tributes to our culture while you listen to one of Frank’s unique songs.
The houseboat is moored on the Renmark Riverfront when Frank is available or simply give him a call if he is not there to arrange alternate viewing times.
