FRUIT FLY OUTBREAK - Renmark and the greater Riverland area currently have a number of fruit fly outbreaks. This has resulted in restrictions applying to the movement of at-risk fruit and vegetables within our region. To further understand these restrictions, please visit fruitfly.sa.gov.au when planning your visit.

Ski for Life has been held over the long weekend in March for over a decade and brings people from all over Australia together to water ski as teams along the 456km Murray River stretch between Murray Bridge and Renmark, all in three days, with the aim to shed some light on mental health and suicide in the hope to prevent the already widespread epidemic and to reduce its impact on the ones we love and strangers alike.
On Sunday, over 70 boats with crew and weary skiers behind will be arriving in Renmark, skiing past the Renmark Club and dropping off at Jane Eliza Landing to complete their relay. Take the time to welcome the boats and get behind this worthy cause by making a donation or acknowledging their efforts.
Along the way, participants enjoy food galore, riverside camping, epic fun (and some epic stacks too!), water fights, sing-alongs, deep and meaningful conversations, and a whole lot of purpose. Fundraising through the event enables support for a variety of programs and projects which align with their mission through the Ski For Life Grants Program. For more information, head to their website or socials.
