FRUIT FLY OUTBREAK - Renmark and the greater Riverland area currently have a number of fruit fly outbreaks. This has resulted in restrictions applying to the movement of at-risk fruit and vegetables within our region. Celebrate Australia Day 2025 at Renmark Paringa Council's Community Breakfast and Australia Day Celebrations in the picturesque Jarrett Memorial Gardens.
The celebrations will commence with a free community breakfast being served from 8am.
Attendees will enjoy a classic Aussie breakfast (egg and bacon sandwiches, BBQ sausages, and optional smashed avocado) or lighter options of a granola bowl or seasonal fruit cup. Pair your meal with orange juice, water or purchase a barista coffee with Little Miss Daisy in attendance. Bring along a picnic rug as seating is limited. Facepainting will be available during the breakfast festivities to get you in the Aussie spirit!
The official proceedings will follow from 9am with the Australia Day Ceremony, including presentations of the 2025 Renmark Paringa Australia Day Award Winners -
